Metallurgical Analysis
Our services include photo documentation, stereomicroscopy, metallography and sample preparation, optical microscopy, and scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy. We conduct microstructural characterization, including grain size measurement, inclusion rating, and heat treatment analysis.
Our metallurgical lab also performs micro and macrohardness testing, as well as a wide variety of ASTM and Mil-Spec chemical, mechanical, and nondestructive standards.
Our services are performed in accordance with procedures detailed in Government, Professional Associations, and Company Specifications. Our inspectors are certified per AWS, MIL-STD-410 and SNT-TC-1A. The in-house Quality Assurance Program complies with the provisions of ISO 10012-1, ASME Section III, NCA 3800, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ISO 9002, and ASME Y 14.5M.
