Radiography is one of the most widely used nondestructive techniques to inspect the integrity of industrial products. It provides a photographic record resulting from the passage of X-rays or gamma-rays through an object onto a film. After development of the film, internal and external discontinuities can be detected, as for example in castings, weldments and assemblies.
Bess MTI provides radiographic services to industry, from microscopic size to large components. This technique is also used in the field to locate conduits and other structures buried in the ground. Our instrumentation consists of the following:
