Bess MTI offers Materials Testing services to a wide range of industries, according to standard codes and specifications. These tests assess the properties, integrity, performance and safety of metals, alloys, polymers, ceramics, cement, coatings and composites. Our goal is to provide excellent support to our customers across many industries .
Our laboratory facilities cover a wide range of chemical, physical and mechanical test methods, which are performed by out testing experts with interdisciplinary backgrounds, such as chemistry, metallurgy, corrosion, and engineering. We provide materials tests in the following areas:
- Metallurgical tests
- Chemical and Physical Tests
- Corrosion tests
- Electrochemical tests
- Mechanical tests
We use a vast number of environments that simulate the operating conditions of the material under test in order to determine their behavior in service. Our tests are often carried out in conjunction with field inspections and failure analysis, or as part of procedure certification or on-going quality control.
Our services are performed in accordance with procedures detailed in Government, Professional Associations, and Company Specifications. Our inspectors are certified per MIL- STD-410 and SNT-TC-1A. The in-house Quality Assurance Program complies with the provisions of ISO 10012-1, ASME Section III, NCA 3800, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ISO 9002, and ASME Y 14.5M.
